In order to investigate the optimum "teamwork" of soil tillage, sowing, fertilisation and crop protection in an overall system AMAZONE since many years carries out field trials at different sites. The results of these trials inform you about the "cost cutting system".

In order to maintain the natural capacity of the resources of soil, air and water for future generations, our customers in agriculture and municipal services not only aim to be efficient, they also wish to operate on a sustainable basis. We, as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, must also shoulder some of this responsibility by developing suitable equipment and “intelligent” agricultural methods.

Since 1998 the BBG Bodenbearbeitungsgeräte Leipzig GmbH & Co. KG is an independently operating company of AMAZONEN-Werke, where passive soil tillage implements and crop protection sprayers are manufactured.

During the AMAZONE 125 year anniversary a film has been produced which shows the course of the company's history.

The object of the Amazone foundation which was established in 2008 on the occasion of the "125 year Amazone" anniversary is the support of science and research and the training and continuing education in the fgields of agriculture and agricultural technology.   

Four members of the board of management assist Christian Dreyer and Dr. Justus Dreyer, the managing associates in the fourth generation. Active in an advisory capacity for the company are the general managers of the third generation.
