The demands on the surface properties of the upper wearing layer of asphalt roads has increased whereby now a grit/mastic layer is spread to increase the initial traction of the surface. This application of a roughening material helps increase traffic safety and therefore it is important to obtain an even distribution of the grit material. The ZA-XS H twin disc spreader is extremely suitable for this task.  The spreader provides an efficient operation, a low and wide hopper design, a slow speed, maintenance-free oil bath bearbox and an easily adjustable spread width reduction. All important parts as hopper bottom, deflector plate, spreading discs and spread widh reducer are made from stainless steel. For a slight surplus the hydraulically driven road construction spreader is available in all RAL colours to match other equipment. The 600 litre hopper capacity can be increased to 1200 litres with bolt-on 250 litre hopper extensions.
