A turnover of 290 million € clearly exceeded expectations but, with markets recovering, double digit growth is the goal for 2011.

With the Pantera 4001, Amazone will introduce its new self-propelled plant protection sprayer to the market in December 2010 and, not only is the plant protection technology in-house, but the running gear also originates from its own production line.

At the GalaBau 2010 exhibition in Nürnberg Amazone again introduces an innovation: the Profihopper 4WDi .

For the 2011 season Amazone will supplement its compact disc harrow programme with new trailed versions in 4, 5 and 6 m working width.

The most important innovations of the GHS drive machines in working widths of 1.50 to 2.10 m are the refined high lift discharge, the draw bar linkage and the re-inforced traffic running gear.

At rotary cultivators and rotary harrows from Amazone the name "Long-Life-Drive" stands for the quality that predetermines the reduced wear, perfect smooth running and high longevity of the entire drive line.

Thanks to the oversized 510 mm diameter serrated discs the Catros+ compact disc harrow is well suited for incorporating huge amounts of straw.

"DroplegUL"  is a system for the under-leaf spraying of vegetable crops that has been introduced to the market in 2010 as part of a sales cooperation between Amazone, Lechler and Syngenta.

On 19th January 2010, Amazonen-Werke opened their new fertiliser spreader test hall in Hasbergen-Gaste to the public.

With GPS-Switch Amazone offers the automatic part width section control for crop protection sprayers and fertiliser spreaders. Many machines are already "GPS-Switch ready".

Amazone has invested around 1 mio Euros into its central spare parts supply at the Amazone Worldwide Parts Centre in Hasbergen-Gaste. The official inauguration of the extension took place on the 21st August, 2009.
