AMAZONE D9 mounted seed drill
Overview
The D9 mounted gravity seed drill is available in the version D9 Special in working widths of 2.50 and 3.00 metres. The D9-25 Special is equipped with a 360 litre seed hopper. The large capacity of 450 litres on the D9-30 Special allows the increase to 710 or 850 litres using extensions. The D9-Special features a very robust frame, large tyres and easy filling of the seed hopper.
The D9 Super mounted gravity seed drill for the medium to large size farm is available in working widths of 3.00 and 4.00 metres. This very robust version is equipped with oversized tyres. On the D9-30 Super the 600 litre seed box which allows for easy filling can be increased to capacities of 860 or 1000 litres using relevant extensions. The 830 litre seed box of the D9-40 Super can be increased to 1380 litres using an extension.
For very large working widths and high acreage outputs the D9-60 Super and the D9-120 Super with 6 and 12 metres working width are available. The D9-60 Super consists of two 3 m machines, the D9-120 Super of three 4 m machines which are linked on a coupling frame with large rubber wheels. This results in a large area seed drill at a favourable price.
For all models WS (suffolk) coulters are available for conventional sowing or where little straw prevails. For mulch sowing the RoTeC coulters (roll disc coulters) are superbly suited. The D9 seed drill can be operated solo or in combination with all soil tillage implements.
