AMAZONE KG Rotary Cultivator

Overview

The KG rotary cultivator incorporates all the design features of the AMAZONE KG rotary harrow but has an even thicker skinned trough, bigger diameter shafts and stronger tines. AMAZONE KG rotary cultivators are equipped with the proven "On Grip" tines to pull themselves into work and automatically maintain the desired working depth. In dry and firm fields the tines break up the soil without any problems and simultaneously intensively incorporate the straw. The large clearance above the rotor heads ensures the free passage of trash and soil mixture. In conjunction with AMAZONE seed drills with RoTeC roll disc coulters the "On Grip" tines provide the cost saving and environmentally friendly mulch sowing.

The KG rotary cultivator is available three different versions:

1. The efficient KG Special in 3 or 4 metres working width for tractors up to 220 HP.

2. The "gorilla" KG Super in working widths of 3, 4 or 4.50 m with a new efficient gearbox for tractors up to 300 HP and reinforced tines as standard. The KG Super can be supplied as special option with hydraulic depth adjustment and oil cooler.

3. The divided rotary cultivators with 4.0 m, 5.0 m and 6.0 m working width allow for hydraulic folding to a transport width of 3.0 m (for tractors up to 220 kW/300 HP)
