Centaur cultivator disc harrow combination

Overview

Grubber-Scheibeneggen-Kombination Centaur

The Centaur cultivator is a multifunctional soil tillage combination for arable farming without the plough.  The wide operational range includes extreme shallow stubble tilth, medium deep mixing of plant residue and soil and top soil deep loosening.

Following different arable farming demands the new Centaur cultivator-disc harrow combinations are offered in two versions:

The Centaur Super is equipped with four staggerd tine rows for soil tilolage and one complete Catros disc harrow unit to incorporate even largest amounts of straw.

In the Centaur Special three tine rows for soil tillage and one row levelling discs are integrated.

Both implements are available in working widths of 3 m, 4 m and 5 m. On request also 6 m and 7 m machines are available.

The three or four row tine stagger ensures full area loosening and intensive mixing. The large frame height in conjunction with the specific tine stagger arrangement ensures the superb material passage.

For the quick change of the Centaur from working to transport position the 5 metres working width version is hydraulically folded. The versions in 3 and 4 metres are supplied with rigid frames.

The Centaur is an implement for top performance and cost saving operation and provides optimum pre-conditions for the following, successful mulch sowing.
