Cirrus 6002 Activ features all the standard advantages of the Cirrus series: front positioning of the seed tank, the targeted re-consolidation of the soil in strips via wedge ring tyres, the integrated running gear and RoTeC+-Control coulters which have been designed for high sowing speeds.   

At the heart of the Cirrus 6002 Activ is the integrated rotary cultivator which mixes soil particles and crop residues and thus creates the necessary fine soil for the following seed embedment. The built-in stone safety device, a standard feature, makes the rotary cultivator insensitive to stony soils.
The positive advantage is that the working intensity can be flexibly matched to the relevant soil conditions via different rotor speeds. A lever change on the main gearbox allows for slower travelling and intensive cultivation on very heavy soils whereas in lighter soil conditions a forward speed of up to 15 km/h with less seedbed intensity is possible.

The front tyre packer roller levels the seedbed ensuring the accurate depth control of the following rotary cultivator.
The seedbed is firstly reconsolidated in strips and thus is perfectly prepared for the following sowing system with an optimum seed/soil contact.
The final seed placement is done via the RoTeC+-Control coulters. With the depth limiting disc and the extreme coulter pressures of up to 50kg, the perfectly smooth running of these coulters ensures an exact placement of the seed even in large fields and changing soil types.

The AMAZONE wedge ring tyres provide just a targeted strip-wise reconsolidation of the seedbed. Thanks to the oversized 1050 mm diameter wedge ring tyres the Cirrus Activ is easily pulled even in over-loosened and little reconsolidated ploughed fields for the minimum of horsepower requirement.

With their 400 mm diameter discs and an adjustable coulter pressure of up to 55 kg directly at the sowing coulter, the coulters run extremely smoothly. This is the ideal precondition for a precise seed placement and still with a row spacing of just 12.5 cm. 
The RoTeC+-Control coulter enables, even on demanding soils, the perfect seed placement. The principle of a depth control system directly on the coulter has been proven many times in practice. This is achieved with the aid of an adjustable depth limiting- and cleaning disc.

The following exact harrow III-S covers the seed with sufficient fine soil. The manual or hydraulical depth adjustment of the exact harrow tines is possible at choice.

AMATRON 3 controls all the important functions of the Cirrus Activ no matter whether operational functions, such as folding in and out the machine from transport or coulter depth and headland functions, or endless other possibilities for setting the machine, for example calibration. AMATRON 3 allows the precise adaptation of the seed drill to all individual demands.
The modern terminal is easily and comfortably handled with its clear display making sure everything is always easily visible. The in-cab terminal offers great flexibility as it can also be used with many other AMAZONE machines.

The 3000 l seed tank (3600 l with extension) is arranged well forwards. In this way a large portion of the machine weight rests on the rear axle of the tractor improving traction and saving fuel.
All the working elements are integrated into the machine behind the seed tank, compact and easily visible to the driver.
The lower linkage and the swivel drawbar make the Cirrus Activ very manoeuvrable independent of the lifting power of the tractor.

For road transport the machine can quickly be folded to a transport width of 3 m. The oversized tyres provide an especially smooth run also on the road. As standard the Cirrus comes with a full braking system and corresponds in all respects to the German traffic regulations for permissible forward speeds of up to 40 km/h.
